According to the results of Domodedovo International Airport activities in January-September 2006, Domodedovo is maintaining its leading position among Moscow area airports in terms of passenger traffic. Overall passenger throughput at Domodedovo in the first nine months of 2006 reached 11,766,000 passengers, a 9.8% increase over the same period of 2005. Starting from February 2007 Austrian Airlines, a part of Austrian Airlines Group, opens scheduled service from Domodedovo International Airport.Austrian Airlines will perform daily flights on Vienna-Moscow-Vienna route from Domodedovo with Airbus-319/Airbus-321/Boeing-737 in business and economy class layout. Within the framework of a long-term program aimed at modernization of Domodedovo International Airport, the Board of Directors of EAST LINE Group made a decision to develop hangar facilities of the Aircraft Maintenance Base with a view of further quality improvement of services provided to the airport partners.In accordance with the decision, a construction site for a new hangar designated for the aircraft maintenance and repair has been determined.
