On the 23rd of January, programme of regular excursions for pupils started.. Children Shools children from school #974 became first guests of the airport.The children observed Aviation training centre where aviation security specialists undergo training, and Aviation Maintenance base where aircrafts are serviced. Study excursion also included visiting Domodedovo Air Service, the biggest in-flight catering facility in Russia. The children were also guided throw the most technologically equipped Passenger Terminal.Pupils visited the apron in close vicinity to the runways, saw the aircrafts of DME partner airlines and modern aerodrome equipment. Domodedovo Airport Aviation Training Centre licensed to train aviation security specialists

The aviation training centre (ATC) of Domodedovo Airport Aviation Security, an East Line Group member, has been licensed by the Ministry of Education of the Moscow region to engage in education activities. This will enable the ATC to train aviation security personnel. The ATC is capable of training up to 300 highly qualified specialists per month.Today, the ATC disposes of the most advanced technical base in Russia. All of the airport production levels, i.e. check-in, customs, border, and special control areas, are recreated inside a 1,000 sq. m. training facility. Renovated runway put into operation at Moscow Domodedovo International Airport

Today, on December 28, 2007, Runway-1 was put into use at Moscow Domodedovo International Airport after the project of its renovation was completed. The decree to this effect was signed yesterday by the head of Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency Yevgeny Bachurin.
