For the first time in Russia Domodedovo Airport is holding children spotting event within the frame of Children’s Day celebration On June 1st, Moscow Domodedovo Airport following its tradition to hold bright and hilarious activities on Children’s Day, will host a memorable holiday for the very young aviation enthusiasts and photographers – spotting for children. The event, which for the first time will be held in Russia in an unusual children format, will bring together 4-14 years old kids. Most of them are children of experienced spotters and will be able to replace their parents on the airfield. The first child “photo session” of planes takes place on the fifth anniversary date of spotting at Domodedovo Airport and Russia.The contest of the best picture will be arranged among small photographers. Their works will be published in press release on the official wed-site of Domodedovo Airport. All small spotters will get souvenirs and gifts from Domodedovo Airport. UTair Aviation has received another two mid-range next generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft from the Boeing facility in Seattle. The aircraft, configured with the new Sky Interior, come on schedule as part of 10 such aircraft expected this year. The number of Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft in the UTair fleet now totals seven, four with Sky Interior modifications. UTair expects to have the remaining 737-800 NGs in its fleet by the end of the year.  >>>

On August 17 at the MAKS International Air Show in Zhukovsky, UTair Aviation and Russian Helicopters, a part of United Industrial Corporation Oboronprom, signed a contract for the delivery of 40 Mil-171 mid-sized helicopters. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2012.  >>>
