Ten years ago, in August 2002, Moscow Domodedovo Airport was the first in Russia to launch an express railway route to the center of the capital. Improving the system of service for the disabled passengers, in the first half-year of 2012, Moscow Domodedovo Airport has bought the additional equipment for the comfortable and safe transportation of this category of travelers. The specialized vehicle fleet increased by eight new minibuses, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and two ambulift vehicles TLD CHTP-PM 5.9, created on base of Mercedes-Benz Atego.Now, after registration, the disabled people, assisted by officers of the special airport service may get to the ground floor of the passenger terminal on the elevator, and from where an ambulift will bring them on board.
