Over 45 thousand people take part in polls at the Internet site of Domodedovo International Airport
Over 45 thousand people have taken part in Internet polls, which were conducted at the official Internet site of Domodedovo International Airport – www.domodedovo.ru - since December 2003. The goal of this project is to let the maximum number of airport clients speak out on the quality of services offered at Domodedovo, to sum up recommendations and suggestions on improving already existing services, as well as on launching new ones.
A total of 23 Internet polls have been conducted at www.domodedovo.ru since the start of the project. They focused on learning of client preferences when choosing an airport, means of transportation for getting to or from an airport, sources of information on flights, etc.
The Internet polls contributed to launching recently a number of new services at the Domodedovo airport terminal. For example, today passengers can charge their cellular phones at various cafйs and eateries located in the terminal, or relax at special massage chairs at special relaxation zones at the business lounge. Also, it became possible to subscribe to SMS-alerts on the flight status and get various information via ASTIC, an automatic system of providing information to clients over the phone.
The received data will be used when working on plans to introduce additional services. For example, the development program of the Domodedovo airport terminal provides for expanding shopping area, including duty-free zone, as well as expanding the Children Center and baggage claim zones and opening new eateries.
Among our priorities – building an inexpensive mini-hotel at the airport terminal, since many of those polled were positive about such project. Also, airport authorities consider a possibility to build a modern business center, a supermarket and a movie theater to run feature films.
