Sheremetyevo Airport opens new destinations for spring-summer air navigation
Sheremetyevo International Airport isВ starting toВ operate inВ accordance with its spring-summer schedule, which will run from MarchВ 30, 2014 toВ OctoberВ 25, 2014. During spring-summer air navigation, Sheremetyevo Airport isВ planning toВ dynamically increase the number ofВ passengers provided with services, inВ particular, byВ extending its destination network, attracting new airlines and implementing additional services for different passenger categories.
During spring-summer air navigation, Sheremetyevo Airport isВ expecting toВ provide services toВ 21.1 million passengers, which isВ 10% more than inВ the same period inВ 2013.
During spring-summer air navigation, Aeroflot — Russian Airlines, the primary air-carrier of Sheremetyevo Airport, is planning to increase the number of flights to Ulan-Ude from three to five flights per week starting on March 30, and up to seven flights per week starting in July.
InВ addition, asВ aВ part ofВ the spring-summer schedule, the Italian air-carrier Air One isВ planning toВ operate new regular flights toВ Venice and Palermo. Flights toВ Venice onВ Airbus Рђ-320 will beВ operated 3В times aВ week onВ Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays starting onВ JuneВ 1, and flights toВ Palermo onВ Рђ-320 will beВ operated onВ Saturdays starting onВ AprilВ 5. Moreover, the company will continue operating flights toВ Catania and Pisa.
As a part of the spring-summer schedule, KLM is starting to operate a new daily flight to Amsterdam. The first new flight departure has been planned for March 30, 2014. This will mark the third direct flight from Moscow to the Dutch capital operated by KLM — a long-time partner of Sheremetyevo Airport.
Mongolian Airlines is planning to increase the number of flights on its Ulaanbaatar — Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) — Berlin route from two to four flights per week.
