Flying from Domodedovo Airport to Geneva twice more often with SWISS
December 17, 2011 Swiss International Air Lines increases the number of flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Geneva up to two flights per day. Now passengers have an opportunity to chose more convenient departure and arrival time to the capital of the French part of Switzerland.

Additional flight LX1339 Moscow (Domodedovo) – Geneva (Cointrin) will depart Domodedovo 17 December 2011 at 8.40 Moscow time to arrive at Cointin at 10.20 local time. Before SWISS used to operate flights in the evening only: departure time from Domodedovo is 7.30 a.m. Moscow time, departure time is 9.20 local time.
The special ceremony dedicated to the launch of operation will be attended by the Ambassador of Switzerland to Russia, Mr. Helg Pierre, General Representative of SWIS to Russia, Patrick Heymann, as well as Director of Moscow Domodedovo Airport, Igor Borisov.
The chance to appreciate the convenience of the additional flight launched is also available to Russian journalists. Specially for this event SWISS in cooperation with Swiss Tourism Office has arranged a one day press tour during which the media representatives will be able to explore the sightseeing places of the famous cultural centre of Switzerland as well as attend the official ceremony on the launch of the flight.
Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest airport in Russia. Over 10 years, its passenger traffic has increased almost 10-fold, from 2.8 million passengers in 2000 to 22.3 million passengers in 2010. Moscow Domodedovo Airport has been chosen for flights to Moscow by members of the world's leading aviation alliances: Star Alliance, oneworld.
Since 2010, Moscow Domodedovo Airport has been on the top of the list of the best airports in the Eastern Europe for the quality of its service, according to the annual rating by independent research company Skytrax Research (UK).
