Moscow Domodedovo Airport held DME Connections interline conference
On November 9, 2011 conference hall of Radisson Royal hotel hosted XI annual interline conference DME Connections. Initiated by Moscow Domododedovo Airport, the conference is aimed at developing cooperation between Russian and international airlines, operating flights from/to Domodedovo Airport.
Since 2005 Moscow Domodedovo Airport implements special programme Domodedovo Transfer Service. Its main purpose is creation of a wide network of connection flights via Domodedovo airport applying through fares and special technologies when servicing transfer passengers and handling luggage.
"Our aim is to interlink maximum number of destinations in one network, said Vladimir Kamynin, Marketing Director of Moscow Domodedovo Airport. This airport is interested in new air carriage market consequently providing our passengers with opportunity to choose routes via Domodedovo Airport from Russian regions to the CIS countries and beyond as well as back".
The conference was attended by 68 company representatives among which 40 Russian and international carriers who received updated information on transfer aviation market trends, new technologies implemented and services introduced, had an opportunity to exchange opinions with industry experts.

Transfer – passenger carriage from the airport of departure to the airport of arrival by means of a single airline or a number of air carriers with an intermediate point offering passengers extensive choice: date and time of departure, cost, air carrier and type of aircraft. Passenger handling at the airport is carried out though special halls, luggage handling for transfer passengers doesn’t require passenger’s presence.
Interline conference DME Connections,initiated and organized by Moscow Domodedovo Airport, has been held since 2005. For this period the conference has grown to become an international business platform for negotiations and building contacts among professionals of the air market of Russia, CIS and beyond.
