Grab your skis and get away with airberlin
It?s not just last minute travellers who can get to the popular ski resorts in Central Europe on a cheap fare with airberlin. Until the end of April, airberlin is prepared to transport skiing equipment weighing up to 32kg completely free of charge. This includes ski boots, poles and, of course, the skis or a snowboard.
You can fly to the ski resorts of the Salzburg region, for example, Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang, Zell am See - Kaprun or the Salzburg Sportwelt from Berlin-Tegel, Dќsseldorf and Hamburg via Salzburg up to twice a day. You can also fly from these airports to Innsbruck and the skiing regions in the Tyrol three times a week.
If you prefer the Swiss Alps, you can fly to Zurich non-stop from Hamburg and Dќsseldorf up to three times a day and from Berlin up to five times a day. You can get to Basel from Berlin-Tegel up to twice a day with airberlin?s cheap early morning and late evening flight service. Now there is nothing stopping you having an adrenaline fuelled weekend on the slopes.
The special conditions for transporting ski equipment apply to all non-stop flights with airberlin and NIKI to Austria, Munich, Zurich, Basel, Milan, Verona and Venice and also to all connecting flights to the abovementioned airports from France, Great Britain, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Scandinavia and Spain.
This offer is valid for flights up to the 30th April, 2012. If you would like your ski equipment to be transported as well, you must register this up to 48 hours before your flight?s departure with the airline?s Service Centre.
Non-stop flights to Austria, Switzerland and Italy are available from just 44.99 Euro one way including taxes, charges and topbonus miles and can be booked online via airberlin.com, by calling the airline?s Service Centre (Tel. 01805 ? 737 800; ?0.14/min. from a German landline; mobile phone charges not exceeding ? 0.42/min.) as well as through travel agencies.
