New from summer 2010: Fly Air Berlin from Frankfurt to Sylt
From 31st March 2010 Air Berlin, Germany?s second largest airline, will also be taking off from Frankfurt to Sylt. That makes Air Berlin the only airline that provides a direct service between Frankfurt and Sylt. Air Berlin will initially be making the new non-stop flights available on three dates (2nd, 7th and 9th April) just in time for the Easter holidays. From 1st May to 31st October 2010 there will be a flight from the city on the river Main to the North Sea island every Saturday and Sunday. On public holidays and during the summer and autumn holidays Air Berlin will be increasing the number of available flights and operate up to four non-stop services a week to Westerland.
There is also good news for all Air Berlin passengers who want to fly to the popular island from Berlin: Air Berlin will be providing a link between these two places from 1st April 2010; initially there will be three flights a week, on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, and from 1st May 2010 there will even be five flights a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Starting in summer 2010, Air Berlin will be offering direct flights to Sylt from a total of eight German cities (Berlin, Dќsseldorf, Frankfurt, Cologne/Bonn, Mќnster/Osnabrќck, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart).
All flights to Sylt can now be booked online (airberlin.com), by calling the airline?s Service Centre (Tel.: 01805-737 800) any time or through travel agents. Early bookers can snap up bargain fares from just 29 euros one way, including taxes, charges and miles.
