In March passenger flow in the Domodedovo Airport has grown for 4.6% comparing to the last year.
According to the results of the March 2011 passenger flow at the Moscow Domodedovo Airport was 1 579 972 people, which is 4.6% more than in March 2010.
In March 2011 17 272 flights have been serviced, which is 13.0% more than in March 2010.
Thus Domodedovo Airport demonstrated growth of the main indicators in May, in spite of closure of tourist flights to Egypt.
Passenger flow at the internal flights was about 685 440 people. In comparison to the March 2010 the growth was 14.9%.
Passenger flow at the international flights was about 894 532 people.
Cargo traffic of Domodedovo has experienced 18.3% growth comparing to the previous year and amounted to 15 230 tons.
According to the January to March results 49 902 flights have been serviced, which is 13.8% more than at the same period of 2010.
According to the results of three months of 2011 passenger flow was 4 466 873 people. The growth in comparison to the same period of the previous year was 4.2%.
Passenger flow at the internal flights was 1 793 171 people, and that is 6.2% more than in January-March of the previous year. Following internal flight directions showed the most growth: Krasnodar, Saint Petersburg, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, and Rostov-na-Donu. Passenger flow of these directions amounted to 468 thousand people, which is 24.4% more than in January-March of the previous year.
Passenger flow at the international flights was about 2 673 702 people (plus 2.9% to the January-March 2010). Following international flight directions showed the most growth: Antalya, Munich, Berlin, and Barcelona. In January-March of 2011 324 thousand people were transported on these directions, which is 69.8% more than the same indicator of the previous year.
Cargo traffic in Domodedovo has grown for 21.9% comparing to January-March of the previous year and amounted to 38 369 tons.
