Singapore Airlines Changed Airfield Fuel Operator to Domodedovo Fuel Services

Since October 2010 one of the airport’s leading partner airline Singapore Airlines has changed airfield fuel operator to Domodedovo Fuel Services (DFS). The airline highly appreciated quality of its work and services provided. Previously Singapore Airlines planes were fueled by another company.

The main objective of Domodedovo Fuel Services - which is a part of Moscow Domodedovo Airport – is a non-stop and safe fueling of aircraft by certified petroleum pursuant to international standards.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is one of a few in Russia operating central aircraft fueling system providing fully automated process. There are pipelines hidden under the apron connecting fuel tanks and ramps. The aircraft fuel system capacity is 900 cubic meter per hour while fuel tank facilities estimate up to 34 000 tons.

A multi-level filter system and all stages quality control are provided by Domodedovo Fuel Services as well.

Singapore Airlines being a national air carrier of Singapore is one of the most respected travel brands around the world with the youngest fleet and a network spanning five continents.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest airport of Russia. Its market share in total passenger traffic in Moscow Aviation Hub makes 46%. At the moment 75 partner airlines (47 foreign including 12 representing the CIS States and 28 Russian) connecting over 234 destinations operate flights all over the world. The unique route network covered by Domodedovo partner airlines provides for 95 exclusive destinations. In 2009 18,7 million passengers benefited from Domodedovo services. Domodedovo Airport has been chosen for operations to Moscow by member airlines of two world aviation alliances: Star Alliance and oneworld.
