Domodedovo Catering Service ramps up production facilities
Largest in-flight caterer in Russia "Domodedovo Catering Service" officially opened a special facility for the production of hot dishes. The new facility processes 10 tones of products (meat, fish, poultry) per day and is equipped with contemporary hi-tech equipment.
"Domodedovo Catering Service" carries out the full cycle of the production process: from purchase of goods to delivery of ready meals on board aircraft. This is why the high effectiveness and production capability of each facility plays a tremendous role in the production process.
The Catering facility promotes active development on the non-aviation market, working with special orders. Business development also requires ramp up of production facilities. The opening of new facilities became possible due to the reconstruction of the company building that has been carried out since 2005. The building is being re-planned and extended. New equipment is being purchased. After reconstruction the total area of the building will add up to over 22 thousand sq.m.
Members of the "Domodedovo Catering Service" management team and specialists were present at the official opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting.
