Air Berlin became the first non-russian carrier to participate in Domodedovo Transfer Service project
Air Berlin airline has become the first foreign air carrier to join the Domodedovo Transfer Service Project. Within the framework of the project, agreements were signed between Air Berlin and carriers Volga-Aviaexpress, VIM-AVIA, SCAT, Tatarstan, Perm Airlines, and Kuban Airlines.
As a result, starting from September 2007, passengers can buy tickets for connected flights to Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, and Dusseldorf with connections at Domodedovo from Volgograd, Aktobe, Taraz, Sochi, Barnaul, Magnitogorsk, Bratsk, Beloyarsky, Novy Urengoi, Omsk, Ufa, Vladivostok, Kazan, Perm, Krasnodar, Kogalym, Surgut, and Chita.
The Domodedovo Transfer Service Project gives passengers an opportunity to buy tickets for the above connected flights at special through fares offered by air carriers. Tickets are available for flights through Domodedovo to cities in Germany from:

The aim of the Domodedovo Transfer Service Project is to integrate individual routes serviced by different airlines into a network of convenient connected flights, ensuring minimum waiting time between connections at Domodedovo Airport, using special service technologies for transfer passengers and luggage, and offering attractive through fares.
Currently, 37 airlines participate in the Domodedovo Transfer Service Project. Within the framework of the project, more than 1,800 different connections are offered to passengers at Domodedovo Airport. Tickets for connected flights are sold through the Sirena booking system using forms of the Transport Clearing House.
