Domodedovo International Airport Confirms Compliance with International Standard Requirement ISO 9001-2000
Domodedovo Passenger Terminal, which is a part of Domodedovo Airport Complex, received a certificate confirming the high level of its management in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001-2000.
It was confirmed that the quality management system of Domodedovo Passenger Terminal, which had been introduced in 2003 in line with the international requirements ISO 9001:2000, fully complies with the standards in providing ground handling services to air passengers, people who meet and see off passengers and visitors of the Passenger Terminal and luggage handling.
The audit was conducted by the German certification authority TUV CERT TUV Thuringen e.V. According to the audit results the quality management system introduced in the Passenger Terminal fully complies with the international requirements.
The report on the Passenger Terminal’s performance, produced by the certification authority, proved compliance of the quality management system of the Passenger Terminal with the requirements of the international standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and underlined the enhancement of the quality of the provided services, meeting demands of the clients, and progress/improvement of the quality management system of the Passenger Terminal.
The results allow Domodedovo Passenger Terminal to use the certificate for three forthcoming years till 2009, subject to mandatory confirmation of the compliance of enhancement of the quality management system of the Passenger Terminal by annual supervisory audit carried out by the audit authority.
