Domodedovo International Airport Receives Admission for Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 and their Modifications
Domodedovo International Airport has received a certificate for admission of Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 and their modifications.
According to the Decree of the Air Transport Agency of the Russian Federation № 345-P, Domodedovo airport has got the right to perform takeoff and landing operations, render flight safety support, service passengers and handle cargo of this type of jets.
In September 2005 Domodedovo Airport also received the right for admission of A-300 and ATR-42 jets and their modifications.
Today, Domodedovo airfield admits nearly all kinds of jets made in Russia including cargo aircraft, all types of helicopters. It has the right for handling Boeing, Airbus aircraft and their modifications, airliners of Douglas family as well as the majority of models of business aviation aircraft: Embraer, Falcon, Gulfstream, Challenger and others.
Domodedovo airfield complex , which is a part of EAST LINE Group, is certified in accordance with ICAO Category III standards. It is the only airfield in Moscow aviation hub that is equipped with two independent runways. This advantage provides for simultaneous takeoff and landing operations and the biggest throughput capacity in Moscow aviation hub.

Fokker jets are 100 seat middle- and short-haul aircraft. Fokker 70 is a development of Fokker 100 jet with a shorter fuselage to 4.62 meters however it retains all other units. The first flight of the model was performed on 2 April 1993. The first production Fokker 70 flew for the first time in mid-July 1994. Nearly all aircraft are equipped with digital avionic EFIS flightdeck with six colour monitors to submit flight data and information on work of onboard systems and powerplant. There is also a built in onboard diagnostic system. All avionics meet ARINC 700 standards.
