EAST LINE Group has taken part in the first annual international conference “Quality of Service at Airports”
EAST LINE Group, the company operating Domodedovo International Airport, took part in the first annual conference ”Quality of Service at Airports” held in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) in June 1-2, 2005.
The event was organized by the Airports Council International (ACI), Customer Survey Program (AETRA), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and attended by the representatives of the largest world airports, airlines, international organizations and consulting firms.
The main aim of the conference, as explained by Robert Aronson, Managing director of ACI, is to stimulate the knowledge and progressive experience exchange between the association members.
The calendar of the conference included the consideration of such important questions as satisfaction of customer needs and addition of new service conceptions into the airport structure, the newest developments in passenger service and the improvement of quality in this sphere; the problems connected with giant planes and active development of low budget air carriers were also touched upon at the conference.
The specialists of EAST LINE Group participated in the work of the thematic session “The interchange of services and retail business in an airport”. The speech of a representative from EAST LINE was devoted to the aspects of advance in the level of services provided by Domodedovo and the stimulation of concessionary activity aimed at the service improvement. The representative emphasized such important points as cooperation with concessioners, their motivation and control.
As the visible results of the politics actualized in Domodedovo we can take the coming of new concessioners of different kinds: shops, cafes and restaurants, Duty Free operators. Lately Domodedovo welcomed a “Yolki-Palki Express” restaurant, cafй “Five Stars”, a DVD-movie theater, famous boutiques SWAROWSKI, ACCESSORI and Zilly.
The improvement of the level of non-aviation services together with providing the highest security level in the airport is one of the foreground goals for EAST LINE Group, aimed at the maximal comfort of air passengers and other guests of Domodedovo airport. The participation of EAST LINE Group in the important field forum ”Quality of Service at Airports” confirmed a high status of Russian airport business in the international arena.
