New biometrical control systems are being introduced at Domodedovo International Airport
EAST LINE Group has started realizing a large-scale programme aimed at improving security control technologies implemented at Domodedovo International Airport.
A high emphasis is laid on introducing new security technologies of security control. Currently, a program of biometrical control for staff access to different areas of the airport is being realized. A new access control system using employees' individual biometrical characteristics - finger prints is developed by EAST LINE Aviation Security and is currently being tested.
Identification systems of this kind ensure the highest level of safety and control, almost excluding the opportunity of strangers getting into control area using other's personal code or access card.
In the nearest future it is planned to use the same biometrical technology for passenger check-in at Domodedovo International Airport.
EAST LINE Aviation Security is the only specialized company in Russia, which has a certificate and a lisence issued by Russian aviation authority for such an activity. The company's specialists have developed measures for further security control improvement. It is planned to open an emergency centre jointly with the Russian Ministry of Emergencies (MChS), as well as to develop an interface between DCS (Departure Control System) of the airport and the data base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Domodedovo International Airport's security technologies improvement program, enabling to increase reliability of security control, is caused by the airport's active integration into the network of the largest international aviation hubs, which demands for additional requirements to meet international standards.
