In January 2004 passenger traffic at Domodedovo International Airport grows by 50% compared to the corresponding period of 2003

In January 2004 the overall passenger turnover of Domodedovo Airport amounted to 740,000 passengers. This number exceeds the result of the same period in 2003 by 50,5%. Interntional destinations experienced more than two-fold passenger traffic growth amounting to 287,000 passengers, showing a 105% increase.

The passenger turnover at charter flights also increased substantially. Today some 55% of overall amount of international charter flights from Moscow aviation hub are performed from Domodedovo International Airport.

Considerable traffic growth was shown at CIS destinations. It amounted to 119,000 passengers which is a 75% growth over January 2003.

Domodedovo Airport maintains the leading position in domestic passenger transportation. Domestic passenger turnover in January 2004 summed up to more than 333,000 passengers, which is 18% more than the same period last year.

A remarkable event took place in the beginning of the year, when International experts aknowledged Domodedovo International Airport's Passenger terminal ISO 9001:2000certificate.
