As of 18:30 MSK, Vnukovo International has been maintaining its normal operational schedule. Current airfield lighting visibility is at 1200 meters. The standard required runway traction factor levels have been assured.
Based on the current prevailing weather conditions, snow and icing clearance, and deicing operations continue on the Airport's runways, taxi strips, AC stands, ramp & apron areas, as required.
A total of fifty crews manning more than fifty units of multifunctional mobile snow and icing removal equipment including a number of anti-icing fluid spreaders, are deployed out on the airfield around the clock. All the Airport's key services and divisions are fully equipped and maintain sufficient reserves of de- and anti-icing agents and fluids for working in adverse weather conditions. All the flight crews are being duly advised of the changes in meteorological conditions at and around the Airport as they occur, and are standing by to operate their flights as per standard daily schedule.
