Domodedovo Airport records an increasing number of mobility challenged travelers: 28,807 passengers with restricted mobility (PRM) used the services of the Airport Specialized Service in 2011, a 30% increase from 2010. Totally, the number of special-purpose passengers who applied for special services increased during the last five years by 243%. According to the results of January 2012 period, passenger traffic of Domodedovo airport amounted to 1 846 941 people, which is 13,8% more than January 2011 period. The airport handled 18 137 flights or 2% more compared with the relative period. Domestic sector marked 700 159 people handled in January which is an increase of 27,3% compared to 2011 figures.
